About me
I am a quantitative analyst and financial risk manager
with 15 years of experience in steering projects in complex corporate
environments. My background is in science & technology, and I
joined the financial services industry in 2007. Until the end of
November 2014 I was the Head of Quantitative Analytics at Altis
Investment Management, at the time a Swiss subsidiary of ING,
where I was leading a small team of quant analysts/developers.
The author of scholarly publications on the modelling of electronic and electromechanical systems, I was previously a researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich and a visiting researcher at the Shizuoka University in Hamamatsu, Japan.
I hold a doctorate from the ETH Zurich and a degree from the University of Bologna, both in electrical engineering. I am a member of the IEEE since 1999, have earned the FRM designation in 2009 and the CFA charter in 2012.
